Our international projects range from teacher training, professional development and demo projects with children to long-term educational partnerships, pilot programs and collaborative development. Every project is unique and also an opportunity for mutual learning—sharing ideas, exploring different educational cultures and developing together with local educators.

Adelaide, Australia
In June 2025, the founder of Laulau, Minna Lappalainen travelled to Adelaide, Australia, to collaborate with Kilparrin Teaching & Assessment School – a school for students with sensory impairment and additional disabilities.
The project included professional development for the school’s teaching staff as well as a series of collaborative Songdrawing workshops for every class at the school. Together with the teachers, Minna explored practical ways of using singing, drawing, movement and drama to support children’s learning, communication and self-expression.
During the visit, Minna also delivered a pilot training for early childhood educators from the Adelaide region. The training was met with enthusiastic feedback and sparked inspiring discussions about the possibilities of the Songdrawing Method in Australian educational settings.
The collaboration was a particularly meaningful experience because it offered opportunities for genuine dialogue, shared learning and the exchange of ideas with experienced special education professionals. Working alongside teachers and children continues to inspire the ongoing development of the Laulau® Songdrawing Method.
Târgoviște, Romania
In May 2026, Minna Lappalainen travelled to Târgoviște, Romania as an Erasmus+ trainer invited by Gradinita Raza de Soare kindergarten.
The visit included a two-day professional development program for the kindergarten staff, followed by a music education sharing session for both teachers and parents. The project focused on the Laulau Songdrawing Method and inclusive ways of combining singing, drawing, movement and storytelling in everyday early childhood education.
