Shweta Sankhla (Tiny Tribes, India) is an early childhood educator, trainer, and speaker with over 15 years of experience championing holistic, play-based learning. After beginning her career as a tax accountant in New York her journey shifted when she became a parent and developed a deep interest in how young children learn through play. She founded Tiny Tribes to bring music, drama, and imaginative learning programs to schools across India. She works closely with educators to create joyful, inclusive, and meaningful early learning environments.

Shweta Sankhla of Tiny Tribes in Mumbai, India, first discovered Laulau through an Instagram post shared by Laulau Learning UK, featuring videos and photos from a recent Songdrawing training. The method immediately caught her interest, and she saw in it a creative approach that could complement the arts-based methods and services already offered through her own educational company.

That first connection led to several warm and inspiring Zoom conversations over the following years. In November 2025, Shweta travelled to the UK to take part in Stephanie’s training, and Minna also travelled to London to meet her there.
It soon became clear that we shared very similar values and ideas about creative learning, and about the importance of arts and play in the education of young children. In December 2025, we began a meaningful collaboration that has already led to many positive experiences around the Laulau Songdrawing Method, as well as new early childhood education partnerships in Mumbai and the surrounding areas.

We are truly excited about this collaboration and look forward to building more joyful and inspiring connections in India. If you are based in India and would like to hear more about our services and collaboration opportunities, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Laulau Learning India. We would be delighted to explore how Laulau’s joyful, creative methods could support your educational setting.
